Rooibos is a South African bush with needle shaped leaves. The cup has a redish look. The word ‘rooibos’ means red bush. This tea is a green rooibos, which gives it a lightness and a brighter feel in the cup. Notes of lemon and ginger has been added to this herbal infusion. The primary flavor of this tea is citrus. The ginger is not dominant but adds a subtle spicy note.

Rooibos is also known for its low level of caffeine, which makes it suitable for the late evening hours. This herbal tea is also suitable as a refreshing iced tea on warmer days.

Recommended preparation: 100°C water/10 g. per liter water.
