Perch’s Yunnan and Assam Blend is a lovely, powerful blend. Assam tea adds strength and Yunnan adds some softness. This blend has a low level of tannins and we therefore recommend that you enjoy it with or without milk. Profile of Assam FTGBOP: A classic small-leafed, powerful tea with golden “tips” in between the dark leaves. The taste of Assam is full-bodied, strong and malty with a slightly sweet note, which is especially present if you add milk. The tea contains a lot of tannic acid and can therefore appear dry if enjoyed without milk. Profile of Yunnan: Yunnan is a large-leaved tea of good quality, with beautiful golden and dark green leaves. The taste is slightly spicy, piquant and smoky, with notes of hay. Recommended preparation: 100°C water/6 g. per liter water. Time: 6 minutes
