Ya Bao (wild tea)

Ya Bao is the buds of wild-growing plants. The compact shoots are picked in winter, and then dried in the sun. This tea is rare and therefore not always on the market. Ya Bao has a natural, mild taste of elderflower and we recommend it as a cold brew tea. Cold brew: put about 5-6 g of tea in a 0.5 L bottle, add cold tap water and let it soak in the fridge overnight. Profile: Ya Bao is a top quality consisting of wild buds, which give a light yellow/greenish color in the cup. The tea has a uniquely nuanced taste and sweetness, with distinctive notes of elder, forest floor, and light smoke. Recommended preparation: 80°C water / 10 g. per liter water Time: 6 minutes
