Lovely highland tea from Bhakanje Tea Estate in Solu Khumbo, which we have helped to establish. The purpose of this thesis is to end many years of extreme poverty in the Bhakanje region of Nepal. By establishing a local, commercial tea production in this area, you can enable the area’s farmers to support their families and at the same time help create momentum for growth in the region. The project is run in collaboration with the Human Practice Foundation and the Himalayan Project. The profits from the sale of this tea go to Bhakanje Tea Estate, which is owned by the producing farmers in Bhakanje. A lovely soft Oolong tea of good quality, with a fascinating mild and clean taste and a natural sweet bouquet of honey and nut.

Recommended preparation: 100°C water, 2.5g / 200ml.

Steeping time: 3-6 minutes.
