Luxury Ceylon BOP
€8.64 per 100 g.
Ceylon teas are divided into two quality categories: high grown and low grown. At high-grown, the tea bushes grow at an altitude of 1200 – 2300 meters. Low grown, is the term for tea bushes that grow below 1200 meters altitude, which often results in a lower quality. This Ceylon Broken Orange Pekoe is a high-grown tea from one of the highest plantations on the island. The tea has a unique character and an incredibly nice bouquet. Profile: Luxury Ceylon BOP is a small-leaf tea of a higher quality, produced from better leaves, than Ceylon 1 BOP. The tasting notes will be reminiscent of Ceylon 1 BOP, with exciting notes of orange, sweetness, and forest floor, but even stronger, darker and fuller. Recommended preparation: 100°C water/6 g. per liter water. Steeping time: 5 minutes* *We recommend a longer steeping time if you want to add milk.
