This tea is from Hangzhou is one of the well kept treasures in China. Emperor Quianlong even named this tea “The Emperors Tea”.
Tea is grown in the entire province but the finest ones come from the Tiemu mountains.
Long Jing is picked during Spring, just before the rain starts pouring.
The tea itself has long flat leaves, gives a yellow cup and has a very nice and soft flavour.
Recommended preparation: 80°C water / 6 g. per liter water (should be brewed with spring water for the best results).
