A.C. Perch’s Blend with Keemun and Earl Grey is an alternative to the classic Earl Grey. By adding the Chinese Keemun tea, the taste of bergamot will become softer. The result is a milder version of our classic Earl Grey. This blend is also known as “the house’s Earl Grey”.
Earl Grey tea is named after British Prime Minister Earl Grey of Howick Hall. It is said that during a trip to China, Earl Grey saved the life of a mandarin, and to show his gratitude, the Earl of Grey was given the recipe for a delicate bergamot tea. He took the recipe with him back to England, and the tea is today the most widespread tea in the world.
This mixture with Keemun and Earl Grey tea is low on tannic acid. Therefore, we do not recommend it for milk.
Recommended preparation: 100°C water/10 g. per liter water.
Time: 7 minutes.
