We are proud to present this unique Japan Oolong from the province of Makinohara, Shizuoka. This province is tea largest the-producing area in the Shizuoka region. This Japan Oolong is descended from Camellia Sinensis, Benifuki and has been harvested in May 2019. Once the leaves have been harvested, they are dried to accentuate a lovely, natural taste, after which they are oxidized. After oxidation, the leaves are fried in a drum for about 2 hours. When the leaves are finished, a final sort is carried out, where the stems are sorted out for the perfect tea.
Due to gentle treatment, this Oolong is rich in methyl catechins and polyphenols.
When the leaves have folded out completely, there is a tendency for the leaf to appear blue-green and the cup has a nice red color.
Recommended preparation : 100 C water / 6 g. per liter water.
