The Chai phenomenon originally stems from India and Nepal, where a blends of powerful black teas and spices was enjoyed with milk and sugar.
There is no definitive Chai-recipe as the opinion it is very different from area to area, but we have put together an Indian Chai based on Assam, cinnamon, orange peel, clove buds, fennel and juniper.

Not seldom Chai is mentioned as the tea-version of Cappuccino.

Recommended preparation: 100 °C Water/6 g. per liter water

Time: 7 minutes.

Indian Chai with Milk: 10-12 g. Indian Chai Blend, 2/3 L water, 1/3 L whole milk.
The blend is boiled with water and milk for about 5 minutes, strain the blend and you can enjoy a nice cup of Chai.
