Gunpowder was one of the first teas to be exported to Europe.
The unique, wrapped shape helps the tea to protect its flavour, which made it ideal for transportation on long distances.
This tea consists predominantly of young green leaves which unfold while the tea is steeping.
Green Gunpowder belongs among the darker green teas and can be enjoyed either alone or in blends.

Recommended preparation: 70-80 °C water/6 g. per liter water.
