Perchs Earl Grey is made from a smooth black Chinese Keemun, which gives a beautiful golden color in the cup. The black tea is perfectly balanced with bergamot, adding a refreshing aroma to the tea.
The tea is named after the British Prime Minister Earl Grey of Howick Hall. According to legend, during a journey to China, Earl Grey saved the life of a mandarin, who, in gratitude, gifted him the recipe for a delicate bergamot tea. He brought it back to England, and today, Earl Grey is one of the most widely consumed teas in the world.
This tea has a low tannin content and is also available in Tea Bags.
Recommended preparation: 100°C water / 6 g per liter of water.
Steeping time: 6 minutes.
