Perchs’ oldest and best-selling blend. A rich and full-bodied English Breakfast Tea consisting of Assam and Ceylon. This tea pairs wonderfully with food and can be enjoyed with or without milk.
Profile of Assam FTGBOP: A classic, small-leaf, strong tea with golden tips among the dark leaves. Assam tea has a full-bodied, malty flavor with a slight sweetness, which becomes more pronounced when milk is added. This tea contains high levels of tannins, which can make it taste slightly dry when consumed without milk.
Profile of Ceylon I BOP: A high-quality, uniform, small-leaf tea with a deep, dark color. Ceylon I has a complex bouquet, best described as earthy forest floor with hints of orange and natural sweetness. Due to its high tannin content, this tea can handle milk well, which also enhances its sweet and fruity notes.
Recommended preparation: 100°C water / 6 g per liter of water.
Steeping time: 5 minutes*
We recommend a longer steeping time if adding milk.
