Classic First Flush Darjeeling from the Sungma garden. First flush Darjeeling is produced from late March to mid-April. At this point, the plant shoots fresh top shots after it has rested during the winter. When daytime temperatures reach about 20 degrees Celsius, humidity increases with winter rainfall and, crucially, for the coming harvest. Sungma was founded in 1863 and farmers have invested a lot in replanting over the last years, which has led to a great increase in quality.
