Only thick and tender white leaves are used for this tea. These white leaves endure a very special treatment that lasts for three days.
First they get a heat treatment at 32 degrees. This treatment is stopped when there is only 30% humidity left in the leaf.
Afterwards the tea leaves are rolled in brown paper and packed in wooden boxes. After two days the leaves are roasted at a very low heat, and afterwards they are once again rolled in paper and put back in the wooden boxes.
The next day the leaves get another heat treatment and are afterwards packed in metal boxes to maintain the ideal freshness.
This tea has a really nice, slightly sweet flavour and should be enjoyed without food.
Recommended preparation: 80 °C water / 6 g. per liter water.
