Boston mix
€8.10 er. 100 g.
Boston Blanding is a type of Earl Grey and based on the Chinese black tea, Panyong. Panyong is slightly fuller than the Chinese tea, Keemun. This makes this blend a bit stronger in the tea base. Panyong has for many years been delivered to Buckingham Palace, where especially Queen Elizabeth II loved this lovely, soft and round tea.
This blend is mild and soft, and has fresh notes of bergamot from Earl Grey.
Earl Grey is named after British Prime Minister Earl Grey of Howick Hall. It is said that during a trip to China, Earl Grey saved the life of a mandarin, and to show his gratitude, the Earl of Grey was given the recipe for a delicate bergamot tea. He took the recipe with him back to England, and the tea is today the most widespread tea in the world.
